I am Takahashi, the representative of UU-Hokkaido that delivers Hokkaido’s tourism information to the world.
Hokkaido is a very pleasant place in Japan, full of beautiful nature. It is surrounded by three oceans with different ocean currents, and there is a ridge dividing the east and west in the central area. Divided into four seasons depending on the weather, it is blessed with seasonal food and water. It is a land where not only humans can live in harmony with plants and animals, and there are many places where nature is only a few kilometers away from residential areas. Powder snow, drift ice, cranes, cherry blossoms, autumn leaves, and lavender can be enjoyed.
The countryside, which has promoted Hokkaido’s representative crops, marine products,
and livestock, is rapidly aging and losing population. But the local produce is truly excellent and is the kitchen of Japan. This land is not only for tourism, but is blessed with opportunities and hints.
To the many “visitors from around the world” who are visiting for tourism, inspection, business, study, etc., please visit and see with your own eyes and body that we will give you the right information.There are opportunities all over Hokkaido.

- For example, the four seasons are beautiful, and food grown in the local water and soil is delicious with just a touch of salt. The dishes listed in the Michelin Guide are wonderful, and the countryside cuisine that has been handed down in the Hokkaido way of life is also exceptional. みなさん、こんにちは。
北海道の観光情報を世界中に発信する悠悠北海道です。私は代表の高橋です。
北海道は日本の中でも、美しい自然に溢れる、とても過ごしやすい土地です。
海流の異なる３つの海に囲まれ、中央には東西を分断する尾根があります。地球の軌道により、北海道は四季に分かれ、旬の食材と豊富な水に恵まれます。人間だけではなく、動植物と共生できている土地です。住宅地から数キロ先は自然という場所がたくさんあります。パウダースノーや流氷、丹頂鶴、桜、紅葉、ラベンダーを楽しく過ごせます。
北海道を代表する農作物、水産物、牧畜をすすめてきた田舎は、人口の高齢化と人口減少が進んでいます。でも、田舎の食材は本当に優れていて、日本の台所と呼ばれます。日本人はみな北海道の食べ物が大好きです。そして、北海道は観光だけではなく、様々なチャンスに恵まれています。
観光訪問や視察·ビジネス·留学など多くの「交流者の皆さん」に、私たちは北海道の正しい情報を伝えますので、ぜひ、皆さん自身の目で、身体で確認しにいらしてください。北海道各地にはチャンスがあります。
